Welcome to St Marys North Public School
We proudly serve the families of North St Marys with a vibrant and inclusive learning environment for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our school is a place where every child is encouraged to explore their potential, grow with confidence, and thrive in a supportive community.
A learning environment where everyone feels valued and supported
We believe every child has something special to offer.
We create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student is valued, diversity is celebrated, and everyone feels a strong sense of belonging. Here, your child will be supported to grow, learn and thrive, not just as a student, but as a confident and caring individual.
Fostering development within and beyond the classroom
Learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. We nurture each child’s academic, social, and emotional development, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Through rich classroom experiences, extracurricular opportunities, and strong community connections, our students grow into capable, compassionate learners, ready to thrive.
Placing student wellbeing at the heart of our approach
we want every student to feel safe, supported, and inspired at school. That’s why we place student wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. By nurturing strong relationships, offering tailored support, and embedding social and emotional learning into daily life, we empower students to grow in confidence, build resilience, and develop a genuine love for learning that stays with them long after they leave the classroom.
Principals message
We welcome you and your children to our school community. St Marys North Public School enjoys its reputation of providing quality education and genuine care for all of our students.
Our curriculum is based upon the Key Learning Areas of English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Human Society and its Environment, Creative and Practical Arts and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education. This curriculum strives for excellence and equity for each individual. We want our children to seek personal excellence and have equal access to all that we offer. Our curriculum is enhanced by opportunities in Dance, Choir, Computer Education, Student Leadership, many sporting options and Environmental Education.
We expect high standards of dress (uniform), behaviour, application and integrity of each child. Our school motto 'Work Earnestly, Live Honestly' is the cornerstone of this expectation. We seek also to have the parents and school working in close partnership so that you as parents are involved and participate in your child/children's education. There are many opportunities through the Canteen, P&C, Breakfast Program, Classroom helpers, Swimming and Athletics Carnival Officials, special fundraising days and other activities for you to work in partnership with the school and show your child just how much you value their education.
We must obtain the best for our children. We the staff and you the parents cannot do this alone but together we may be able to do so. Together, we must set high but attainable goals for our students and then together we must do all in our power to help them reach these goals.
Together we will achieve our school vision 'A Community with Expectation of Achievement and Success'.
