Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

We welcome you and your children to our school community. St Marys North Public School enjoys its reputation of providing quality education and genuine care for all of our students.

Our curriculum is based upon the Key Learning Areas of English, Mathematics, Science and Technology, Human Society and its Environment, Creative and Practical Arts and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education. This curriculum strives for excellence and equity for each individual. We want our children to seek personal excellence and have equal access to all that we offer. Our curriculum is enhanced by opportunities in Dance, Choir, Computer Education, Student Leadership, many sporting options and Environmental Education.

We expect high standards of dress (uniform), behaviour, application and integrity of each child. Our school motto 'Work Earnestly, Live Honestly' is the cornerstone of this expectation. We seek also to have the parents and school working in close partnership so that you as parents are involved and participate in your child/children's education. There are many opportunities through the Canteen, P&C, Breakfast Program, Classroom helpers, Swimming and Athletics Carnival Officials, special fundraising days and other activities for you to work in partnership with the school and show your child just how much you value their education.

We must obtain the best for our children. We the staff and you the parents cannot do this alone but together we may be able to do so. Together, we must set high but attainable goals for our students and then together we must do all in our power to help them reach these goals.

Together we will achieve our school vision 'A Community with Expectation of Achievement and Success'.
